AT 2010 -- A Compassionate Journey
A little more than 5 months ago Brad Johnson, owner of LawnAmerica, embarked on the journey of a lifetime -- hiking the entire Appalachian Trail. Completing the entire Appalachian Trail is an accomplishment all of its own, but like most things that Brad is involved in he wanted to find a way to benefit others. That is where the idea of the AT2010 Compassionate Journey started. Along with the goal of hiking almost 2200 miles, we as company also set off to raise $100,000 for five deserving local charities. As of late October we have raised and donated over $90,000 and we are confident that with the help of our customers and friends that we will exceed our $100,000 goal. Brad is also getting closer each day to his goal of finishing the trail, with less than 25 days overall left to go. Fall Weed Control
In our last post we talked about the importance of doing the right things this fall to set the stage for a healthy lawn for next spring. We discussed the importance of overseeding Fescue lawns and the benefits of applying a fungicide in the fall to help control certain diseases. Hopefully at this point you already have your seed in the ground and your fungicides applied.
Today I want to talk about our Fall Weed Control Treatment. This treatment is what sets the stage for a lawn having very few, if any weeds next spring.
