GLBTQ Spirit Rally
The Spirit Rally on the 20th of October was a great success with over 100 people in attendance, both youth and adults showing their support for GLBTQ youth and the struggles they face. Thank you to all the speakers and volunteers that helped make this possible. Thank you to the Tulsa World for the Cover Story and Channel 8 for a good story on the news.

ART GROUP ON TUESDAY E/O WEEK
Our new Art Group has begun and they are having a blast. Join us every other tuesday as we have Art Night for OYP. There are going to be many exciting projects both long term and short term. We would like to thank our new Art Instructor Kathy for her time leading this fun group. Next Art night is Tuesday 10/12 at 6:30.

MOVIE NIGHT CONTINUES--6:30
Movie night continues every other week, alternating with the new Art Group... Popcorn will be provided. 6:30 every other Tuesday evening, we close after the movie at approx. 8:15-8:30. Next movie night is 11/16/2010. We will watch Glee on the 9th while Art Group is going.

Private Counseling Services Available
Openarms Youth Project has a counselor available every thursday evening to meet with you and or your family. She arrives around 4:30 and is usually there till about 9:00. You may drop in any time for a visit with her or schedule and appointment. Her name is Leigh Ann and she is just great.

THURSDAY GROUP AND DINNER
Come by and hang out at the center which opens at 4:00, with dinner served at 6:30 and group discussion at 7:00. You will make new friends and see all your regular ones. Come on by on a Thursday to hang out and have fun at Tulsa's Only GLBTQ youth center: Openarms Youth Project Inc.

Bringing Lesbian, Gay Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning youth and their friends together to build a peer based community that empowers them to end isolation, create a progressive youth voice; increase well being and self-esteem; and change the communities in which they live. Openarms Youth Project accomplishes this by offering peer based education, advocacy, recreation, information and leadership opportunities.

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the safety and well being of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender youth and their friends.
Openarms Provides Free Confidential HIV Testing upon request.
