Cedar Ridge provides inpatient and extended residential treatment for children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 18. Residents are placed on specific units based on age, gender, and diagnosis. The treatment program provides a structured milieu, which fosters a supportive environment that promotes self-acceptance, increased self esteem, and improved social skills for each resident.
Residential Treatment Programs:
Children - ages 6 to 12 male and female. This program is designed to address the specific needs of younger children with emotional and behavioral disorders.
Adolescent - ages 13 to 18 male and female on separate units. This program is designed to address the specific needs of adolescents with general psychiatric disorders, such as Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Cedar Ridge also has a specialty treatment track for those children or adolescents with substance abuse or addiction-related issues.
