We are a body of believers who love God and love people, and we want you to have a place to fit in. Whether you’re new to town or you’ve been here a while, we would love to have you become a part of our church family. There is a ministry for every age at First Baptist, and you are invited to join us.
World Missions Offering
In the past we would collect four offerings throughout the year: Lottie Moon at Christmas time for International Missions, Annie Armstrong at Easter for North American Missions, a Mother’s Day offering for Baptist Retirement Villages and OK Homes for Children, and the Edna McMillan State Mission offering for disaster relief. This year we are combining these four offerings and several local ministries under one large umbrella, called the World Missions Offering. The financial goal for this year is $50,000, which is more than we have ever given toward missions. Would you like to be a blessing to someone that is really in need this year? If so, consider making a financial contribution to the World Missions Offering. Below is the distribution of funds by ministry:

Annie Armstrong North American Missions 20%
Edna McMillan State Missions/Disaster Relief 10%
Baptist Homes for Children/Retirement villages 5%
ACMI house for victims of domestic violence 5%
Pathways Pregnancy Crisis Center 5%
Operation Care for benevolent needs 5%
First Saturday @ First Baptist soup kitchen 5%
