Thank you for visiting the Edmond Dermatology Clinic website. Our office hours vary: were open Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 8 a.m. 5 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. 5 p.m. We are open two Fridays per month 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Were closed for lunch daily from noon 1 p.m. The clinic has special Saturday morning hours twice monthly. Were located at 620 West 15th in Edmond, on the south side of the street. All visits are by appointment only.
We have separate lines for different needs: Call (405) 330-4827 for all of your billing and insurance questions; to fax us documents, call (405) 359-3061; and for an appointment, call (405) 359-0551. Please present your insurance card and photo identification at each visit. To avoid charges for broken scheduled appointments, please call 24 hours in advance to cancel. This courtsey allows us to assist others with urgent needs.
While we make every effort to stay on schedule, emergencies and unforeseen complications occasionally arise. We appreciate your understanding under these circumstances and will give you the option of re-scheduling our appointment for another day. In case of an emergency after 5 p.m. or on weekends, you can contact Dr. John by calling our office number: (405) 359-0551
If youre calling in for a prescription refill, call your pharmacy and theyll fax it to us. Our fax number is (405) 359-3061. If you have a question concerning your medication, just ask for a nurse.
About Dr. Michael D. John
A board certified dermatologist, Michael D. John, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Louisville (Kentucky) School of Medicine where he also completed a three-year residency in dermatology. Dr. Johns professional experience includes four years as a dermatologist in the U.S. Air Force and five years as a physician with the Oklahoma City Clinic before establishing the Edmond Dermatology Clinic in 1990.
His professional memberships include the American Medical Association, the Oklahoma State Medical Association, the Oklahoma County Medical Society, and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Dermatology at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine on a part-time basis.
