English Language Center is an established and respected Intensive English Program, approved by Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education and authorized under federal law to issue I-20s, required for F-1 student visas. The mission of ELC is to provide an excellent intensive English-as-a-second-language program for international students intending to enter US colleges, universities, or technical schools. Its main program is to enhance those academic skills which are needed to be successful in a English-speaking educational environment. ELC encourages cultural awareness through activities that acquaint the students with the community, holiday traditions, and the university campus. ELC's mission is also to design and implement programs for business executives, summer groups, and others who wish to improve their English language skills. We care about your success.

Edmond, Oklahoma, is a charming small city located just north of Oklahoma City and is home to the University of Central Oklahoma. While Edmond has an excellent standard of living and is considered one of Oklahoma’s finest communities, it is also a very affordable and convenient place to live. Near the university you can expect to find spacious modern housing, convenient shopping, banks, restaurants, cafes, parks, and all public services. The climate is very agreeable in Oklahoma, so Edmond is relatively warm, lush, and green for much of the year and winters are generally mild.
Some ELC graduates have entered other universities such as Harvard, Purdue, Southern Methodist University, and MIT.
