When you eat at a Mexican restaurant you usually see Mexicans working there, when you eat Chinese food you usually see Asian people working there. Doesnt it make sense to see Italian people working at an Italian restaurant! Well you will at Papa Dios, in fact you might even see three generations of Bonadios there at one time or another. Ask to see the owner at some chain restaurant or a multi-unit restaurant, he or she is probably on the golf course! Well Bill Bonadio (owner & chef) doesnt play golf so he is most likely cooking up something tasty in the kitchen.

Lets start your tour of Papa Dios Italian Restaurant by telling you that we have two separate and different dinning rooms for your enjoyment. The first is our casual or family side dinning room. You can bring the kids after a soccer game or meet you spouse on the way home for a quick bowl of pasta without worrying about your dress or your hair do.

Now the Wine Bar Side, imagine a fine dinning restaurant with white table cloths, reidel wine glasses, a wine list that has been awarded the Wine Spectators Award of Excellence several years in a row and in the middle of the room a horseshoe shaped custom bar with a back bar made from wood that was brought in from an 18th century home in Louisiana. All this luxury for casual dinning prices! This room is only open in the evening so if you a need a private room for a special luncheon then give us a call.

Both dining rooms offer the same 160 plus item menu ranging from imported pasta, chicken, veal, shrimp, fresh fish daily to a special page for the Chefs specials. Chef Bonadio even has a Tuscan Fusion menu and dont forget Dios original Fried Pizza. Check out our menu page for more details.
