Congratulations to Carlson Company for the purchase of Toyota's first large IC pneumatic lift truck in the U.S.! Tulsa based Carlson Company is a leading manufacturer of custom large diameter steel flanges, rings, and disks. Tom Jones, sales representative for Southern Material Handling Company, made the sale and helped deliver the large capacity truck this summer. This fall, Toyota announced the expansion of its line of large IC pneumatic lift trucks to include four new models: 33000, 40000, 44000, and 51000 pound capacities at a 36 inch load center. Equipped with a 6.7 liter J Series Hino diesel engine, the new trucks are made for challenging work environments including ports, construction, lumber yards, metal fabricators, and concrete and masonry yards. With the addition of these new large IC pneumatic lift trucks, Toyota now offers models ranging from 3000 to 51000 pound capacities.
