The law firm of Pinkerton & Finn, P.C. located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was established more than a decade ago by attorneys Laurence L. Pinkerton and Judith A. Finn as a result of a shared vision of providing exceptional and specialized litigation services.
Recently, the firm settled a major class action lawsuit against the Bank of America, involving the breach of a trust indenture governing certain Zero Coupon Series B Bonds, issued by Greater Southwestern Funding Corporation in 1984 and sold to clients of PaineWebber and Reitan-Mosele in 1985 and after for their IRA Accounts (B Bond Settlement). The Business Philosophy Of The Firm
Most of the cases handled by Pinkerton & Finn, P.C. are referred by other attorneys when it becomes clear that the case requires resolution through litigation. Through years of experience, Pinkerton & Finn, P.C. is familiar with the many reasons, both legal and practical, that compel attorneys to refer cases that are headed to trial. These may include the following:
Conflicts of interest which prevent attorneys from handling matters themselves, thus making case referrals to other counsel necessary
An opportunity for co-counsel representation may arise in cases where there are multiple defendants and a conflict requires a referral
The referring attorney recognizes the need for local counsel with knowledge of judges, attorneys, or other aspects unique to the geographic area in which the case will be heard
The Pinkerton & Finn, P.C. attorneys are not only accomplished trial lawyers with the skill, experience, and tenacity required to win complex cases, but they are experienced in assuming in‑progress, complex, referred cases and successfully taking them to a successful conclusion.
