We have reduced our kennel capacity. We have made our existing runs larger and even nicer. One building is total suites for dogs under 30 lbs. We have added a 1500 sq ft inside play area for large dogs and an inside training area. We want to provide the best quality care possible and we have been able to achieve our goals by reducing the amount of pets staying with us.
Rates are now $15 & $17 per day per dog (cats $15).
We will provide high quality food and treats included in the boarding fee. You will no longer need to bring anything with your pet. All items will be included. It is to difficult to keep up with everyones belongings, please only bring what your pet must have. Please don't bring bedding, toys or bowls due to hygienic and parasitic reasons.

K9 Acres is a Pet Resort who solely caters to canines & felines, designed for your pet as a wonderful vacation facility. We provide quality care and socialization for your pet and meet the special needs they require. K-9 Acres is committed to the safety and well being of your fury family member. We have designed an environment where pets can indulge in the the love and attention they deserve while you are away, all offered in a beautifully secluded country setting where your pets can enjoy fresh air, nature and still have the luxury they need. You can relax and enjoy your vacation knowing your pet is having an enjoyable one too. (The above is our facility. The right building is our main boarding facility. The left building is our grooming salon which is in the front part of the building and our other boarding facility is located in the back section of the building. This building was designed for our larger guests who need lots of room.) (The lower picture is our cattery. When customers enter our office the cats are always eager to watch the excitement. Because our office is separated by a glass wall between the cattery.)
Our facilities include 3 choices of runs. The most popular being our 15 ft long inside outside run with a doggie door and their own private porch. The runs are 6 ft tall and have covered tops for climbers. The facility is surrounded by a 6 ft tall perimeter fence. All of the doors are dead bolted when the Pet Resort is closed, we have surveillance cameras on the property and an alarm system. We will know if anyone tries to enter or if some one tries to escape right away. The entire facility has central heat and air. The average temperature stays between 70 & 80 degrees. It just depends on the season and what is comfortable for the pets. (The lower picture is Annie the pug in a suite.)
Doggies get to enjoy a flat screen TV, while kitties have a large aquarium to keep them busy. We also offer a quite home-like environment for our more timid guests. Your feline companions can enjoy a large private run with a window view and their own three story playhouse.
All of our guests go out in one of seven 10,000 square foot exercise yards most of the day (weather permitting) between the hours of 7am - 7pm 7 days a week. Your dog will go out individually or with others similar in size and personality at your request and written permission. The proprietors live on the property, so the Resort is closely monitored. Even though we live on the property we will still be very strict with our business hours to the public. Please do not ask to drop off or pickup your pet before or after our Resort is closed.
