Our book club will be combining the November and December meeting on December 1 at 1:15 in the library. The current book in review is “Behind the Burka” by Sulima - Hala. We would like to encourage new readers to join. The Church Book Club meets the third Wednesday of every month. Everyone is welcome!
Don’t miss “Joseph and Our Amazing Musicians” sponsored by Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC on Sunday, November 21, at 2:30 p.m. at the Bartlesville High School Fine Arts Auditorium. Nationally known composer and pianist, Joseph Martin, will direct the Bartlesville Mid High and High School Choirs and a 130 voice adult choir featuring musicians from over 18 area churches and vocal groups. The choral presentation of Martin’s beautiful and stirring compositions will be sure to please! In addition, Martin will perform many of his well known selections on the BHS grand piano. Ticket prices are $22 for adults and $12 for students. Tickets and seat selection are available at the Community Center Box Office or ticket vouchers may be purchased from participating singers and church offices. All proceeds from the tickets, less the handling fee, will benefit the CONCERN Foundation. Honorary Chairpersons for this exciting charitable event are Glenn and Ronnie Cox. Mr. Cox retired as President of Phillips Petroleum Company in 1991.
