The congregation on Sunday was about two verses into “There Is More Love Somewhere” – a traditional African-American hymn – when our associate minister, Rev. Tamara Lebak, stopped us.
“Wait, wait, wait,” she said from the chancel, raising her hand. The singing stopped and the piano went dead.
But the collision of events that shot her into the public eye isn’t going away. As long as there are bloggers and journalists – and intense competition to get the story, get it right and get it first – such collisions will continue.

"Just wanted to thank you for the excellent work on our Life is a Highway video and media exposure. Allison, your little tweet that Rick Wells picked up on made this so much bigger than we ever imagined it would be. KOTV's 2-minute news story was incredible! You all do an outstanding job for us and we sincerely appreciate it." -- Cynthia Staab, Tulsa Transit
