Mr. Johnson entered the complete flooring business in Oklahoma City in 1927; he confined his work to installation of hardwood floors. In the latter year, he expanded by adding sanding and finishing services. The Johnson family owned the floor company until 1979 when Jerry Sparks purchased it. Bryan Jones became a partner in 1985 and is at present the sole owner of Temple Johnson Floor Co., Inc.
